Shokoji Nembutsu Yoga Class is a Nembutsu yoga practice that positions yoga exercises as a form of practical Buddhism and aims to practice Nembutsu and introspection.
The yoga practice at Shokoji Temple is a practical form of Buddhism that helps you understand how your mind (brain) creates the world and gain a correct view of the world. By experiencing the practice of correct observation (naikan) and its difficulty, you will come to realize that the ultimate goal is chanting the name of Amida Buddha, and reach the state of mind where you believe that chanting the name of Amida Buddha is the highest form of worship.
The yoga practices at Shokoji Temple bring the mind closer to a state of tranquility, and by repeating this practice, one is able to maintain a good state.
