Hello, this is Shokoji Nursery School Itabashi Station Front School ☀️
This time, we will be showing you how to clean up Nono-sama and make a spirit horse 🙌🏻

Since Obon is coming up soon, I went to a flower shop with my 2-year-old child to buy flowers to offer as an offering like Nono.
When we arrived, the staff brought out several bouquets of seasonal flowers from among the many flowers, and the children chose one from them, saying "This one is the best!"

On the way home, some children were seen taking flowers home to the nursery school with great enthusiasm, saying things like, "The flowers are so big," and "Let's give them to them like Nono."

When we arrived at the nursery school, we immediately wanted to offer flowers, but we noticed that Nono's house was a little dirty. 👀 After talking with the children, we decided to clean up Nono's house, who is always watching over us, before offering flowers, so we started cleaning. 🧹

When the children take the towels in their hands, they naturally and gently wipe the house, and after they have cleaned every nook and cranny, they say, "Oh, it's dirty here too," and look at the house and say, "It's clean now~✨" with a gentle look on their face.
The next day, we also made a spirit horse so that Nono-sama could come and go safely. The children worked seriously on it, saying, "I'll do it myself!"

When it was finished, she happily displayed it, saying, "Nono-sama, please come!"

Through our activities, we have seen people express gratitude and affection towards the gods and ancestors as they interact with Nono-sama. We hope to continue to cherish this kind of sentiment.
