We have started raising silkworms at Shokoji Nursery School Yoshidacho!
The children were very curious about silkworms, which they were seeing for the first time.
"It's white." "It's small." "It ate a leaf."
Some children said they were interested in silkworms, while others said they were a little scared. There were a variety of feelings when the children saw the silkworms.
Daily feeding (mulberry leaves) - some people are seen feeding them enthusiastically
So, I carefully raised them and observed the silkworms.
I want to have fun with the kids.
We value childcare that is friendly and has kind words.
Raising living creatures (silkworms) like the one I am currently working on is also a major part of this. Through silkworms, I have come to understand the preciousness and wonder of life, and I feel a deep appreciation for it.
I would like to raise this living thing with care, while watching together with the children to see how they feel.
The care of the silkworms continues...
