Thank you for visiting the Shokoji Nursery School Minami-Urawa page. Based on our childcare guidelines of "gentle faces and kind words," we aim to raise children who are healthy in both body and mind, valuing each child's individuality and development, with gentle expressions and kind words. We also want to be a nursery school where children, parents, and caregivers can grow together in the family-like atmosphere that only a small-scale nursery can provide.

Picture book reading
Children love picture books, don't they? The importance of picture books in growth is being reconsidered in childcare and education. The children at Minami-Urawa Nursery School also love picture books. Through reading picture books to them, we hope that they will experience the joy of interacting with friends and sharing a place and time.
Fun Events
We have lots of fun events every month. There are things that take place throughout the year, things related to the seasons, things that take place every month, and we are actively working to have our children experience a variety of events, develop a wide range of sensibilities, and stimulate their growth.
Handmade toys
Minami-Urawa Kindergarten also focuses on handmade toys using cardboard, milk cartons, milk cans, etc. They make each toy with care, asking themselves, "I wonder if the children will be happy if I make something like this?" It's fun to play with ready-made toys such as blocks and dollhouses, but children also love the handmade toys that are made with love by the teachers. The teachers' hopes are put into each toy, that it will help the children to interact more with their friends and improve their physical balance.
