At Shokoji Nursery School, we value our childcare policy of "gentle faces and kind words - gentle smiles and gentle speech." We provide childcare while always thinking about what the children are thinking, feeling, and what they want to communicate. We always try to see things from the children's perspective, so that they can live at the nursery school with the same peace of mind as they would at home.

Features of our nursery

和顔愛語を意識する温かい保育士と自分の選択を決められる子どもたち

正光寺保育園では、保育方針が「和顔愛語～柔和な表情とやさしい言葉遣い～」とあるように、

保育士一人ひとりが保育方針を意識し、子どもが泣いたり怒ったりしたときには、まずは子どもの気持ちを汲み取り言葉掛けをしています。

そのため、北浦和園の子ども達は、保育士にたくさん甘えたり、思いを受け止めてもらったりすることで、

自己肯定感が育まれ、２歳児クラスになると、子どもたちは自分のやりたいことをしっかりと発言できるお子さんが多く、保育目標である自ら考え行動していく力がしっかりと育まれているように感じます。

充実した近隣公園

小規模保育園なので園庭はないですが、近隣公園に恵まれています。

自然を感じたいときは北浦和公園、たくさん走りたいときは常盤七丁目公園、電車を見たいときは西口公園等

子ども達のその時の姿を捉え、子ども達が楽しめる場所を選び公園へ行くことが出来ます。

また、毎日の公園へ行く習慣があるからこそ、「お友だちと手を繋いで歩きたい！」という意欲も育ち、

１歳児後半になると保育士と友だちと手を繋いで歩いて公園へ行くお子さんもいます。

Intergenerational Exchange

毎月ボランティアの方をお招きして、読み聞かせ会を行っています。

同じお話しでも保育士が読む絵本と世界観が変わり子ども達も楽しめ、読み聞かせ会を通して、核家族化が進んでいるからこそ、地域の人の温かさに触れられる温かい時間となっております。
