Today, we will show you how to peel corn as part of our food education program.
The children were seen sharing what they had noticed, such as "It has a beard!", "It won't peel off! Hmm, hey!", and "It smells nice!" ☺️
No matter how much they peeled, the corn's face never appeared, and they almost gave up, but it was wonderful to see them working on it until the end without giving up.
After the food education session, the children had fun coloring the pictures, remembering the colors and saying, "It was yellow and green!"
It was adorable to see the children stuffing their cheeks with refills of the corn that was served as an afternoon snack, and they proudly said, "You peeled it!" This was an opportunity to further realize the wonderful power of food education.
