On June 18th, four people participated in the "1st Buddhist Childcare Training Seminar of 2025" held at the Koshoden Auditorium of Zojoji Temple, including Representative Takahashi of Shokoji Temple, Director of Hatogaya Garden, and teachers Harukawa and Yamashita from the Childcare Department.
This training course will focus on the theme of "Eiichi Mochida and Buddhist Childcare."
・The human relationships that Buddhist childcare aims for
・Buddhism as science
・Aiming to be a nursery school that serves as a "plaza"
I learned about the following:
The childcare policy of Shokoji Nursery School"Gentle Face and Kind Words"I was able to reaffirm that this is a summary of the important things stated in the nursery school childcare guidelines. Children, parents, and nursery teachers are all people. That is why we must consider how we can connect with the environment, including people, places, things, history, culture, and nature. We must also consider how we can deepen these connections.
In today's world where many different new childcare methods are mixed together, Shokoji Nursery School will continue to strive to provide childcare that builds the most important foundation for people to raise others and live happy lives true to themselves, and that fosters emotionally rich hearts.
