Introducing Shokoji Temple's "Food Education Project"

This spring, Shokoji Temple launched a new initiative called the Food Education Project.
The theme is "realizing the richness of life through eating."

What makes this project unique is that every step of the process, from sowing the seeds to harvesting and cooking, is done by the participants themselves. They touch the soil, watch the plants grow, harvest the ripe vegetables with their own hands, and eat them together at the table with their friends. Through these experiences, the project allows them to reexamine the importance of eating and the joy of cooking.

The project leader is Mr. Kuwabara, who is in charge of food education.
We launched this project with the desire to allow people to experience the essence of food in a fun yet serious way.

Time to go out to the fields during breaks from work and face nature.
The moment when the vegetables you have grown arrive on the dinner table and you can taste them with your own hands.
All of these experiences will surely enrich your mind and body.

We are currently looking for people to join us in making this project a success.
If you are even slightly interested, please feel free to contact us.
