The snow from the previous day melted in an instant, making for a refreshing day on the middle day of the equinox.

There were about 40 applicants, so we prepared 50 seats, which were all filled, and many people were able to spend time chanting Buddhist prayers and introspection together.
We cannot avoid interacting with others as we live in society. This is where we experience a lot of joy, pain, sadness, and growth.
On the other hand, quiet time to face ourselves and reflect can also bring us stability in our emotional and dynamic thinking.
A balance between the two is important. However, modern people, who are extremely busy, tend to lack time for introspection. For such people, the Spring Equinox provides a precious time for introspection and chanting the Nembutsu.

As I wrote in the temple newsletter, I would be grateful if you would report your experiences of introspection. We look forward to receiving your reports in the form of your choice, such as email or letter.
The next event is a prayer meeting. I look forward to seeing you again.
