Hello. This is Shokoji Nursery School Kita-Urawa.
The other day we held a food education session on the subject of lotus root.

I went to the store to buy lotus root and saw the round and rugged shapes lined up.
I had a hard time deciding which one to choose.
It was fun to choose!

In the room, they touched the lotus root and said, "It's rough!" and "I can see something!"
They kept telling me what they had noticed, and seemed amazed that lotus roots of this shape could grow underground.
It looks like the conversation will flow again when we get to the dinner table.

The stamps used colorful colors to create various patterns in the shape of the holes in the lotus root.

It was a day where each of us enjoyed the strange shapes of lotus root.
