Hello, this is Shokoji Nursery School Itabashi Station Front School.
This time, we will introduce some things that childcare workers should be careful of on the way to the park.

For outdoor activities, we go to the park and play! When we go to the park, the children head to their destination in a stroller or holding hands.
There is a lot of traffic on the roads, including cars and bicycles, so before passing each other, we tell staff from the front to the back and from the back to the front, "There's a bicycle!"
By informing them in advance, we can guide the children to walk safely.

When we reach roughly the halfway point in the park, all staff members count the number of children and take a roll call to make sure there is no difference from the number of children who went out for outdoor activities.
The safest route to the park has been decided and shared among all staff members! When the usual route becomes dangerous due to road construction, the staff members discuss it each time and decide the safest route.

In addition, we also take into consideration children walking around.
We tell them that parked bicycles and other objects can cause injury, and when passing by glass or utility poles, we guide them to avoid them and call out to them to be more careful themselves, saying things like "Look ahead!"

All staff members look at the overall picture, check the number of people and dangerous areas, and share this information so that children can walk to their destination in a safer environment.
