This is Shokoji Nursery School Akabane Iwabuchi Garden 😊✨
It's starting to feel like autumn now, and the weather is comfortable.
Autumn is the season for appetite!!
The other day, children from the preschool class at Akabane Iwabuchien went on a sweet potato digging field trip.

Our destination is Kawagoe, the city of sweet potatoes!!
When we arrived at the sweet potato field, we greeted them cheerfully, saying, "Good morning. I look forward to meeting you!"
After learning how to dig up potatoes, we started digging!

During the trip, a bug appeared and one friend said, "It's a little scary..." but the friend kindly replied, "It's okay. It's cute. Just be gentle so you don't crush it. This is the bug's home after all 🏠", which made me feel touched...✨.
Through our "kind-hearted and gentle" approach, these children naturally learn to use kind words and actions.
We worked hard on digging up the potatoes, which was the most important part, and managed to dig them up without breaking any.

After working up a sweat digging up sweet potatoes, it was time for lunch made by the mother.
It was a wonderful lunch filled with smiles and comments like, "It's delicious♡" and "Mom's cooking is the best!!"
Thank you for taking the time to prepare the lunch boxes despite your busy schedule. We are truly grateful.

Afterwards, we went for a walk in a forest called "Totoro Forest."
The children searching so hard for Totoro were so cute💖💖

Please look forward to next year...
