We have contact with a nearby day care center every month.
Since Respect for the Aged Day was in September, we gave them presents to express our gratitude to them.
When we arrived at the facility, the teacher called the children's names, "○○-chan♡", and when he noticed a child who was absent, he asked me, "Teacher, was ○○-chan not here today?" which was very touching.
Afterwards, when we gave them the "Respect for the Aged Day" presents, the grandparents were so happy they cried 👴👵
"Thanks to you all, I feel better again♡" we heard such wonderful words from the children, who were beaming with joy 😊 It really touched our hearts.
Next, we presented a song as a gift, and the children clapped their hands in delight. It was impressive to see how happy they looked.
And I told them "Thank you as always" and we had a great time playing together again that day ♡
The kindness of the elderly people has helped the children develop a sense of compassion and gratitude, and we feel truly grateful to have had the opportunity to interact with them. We look forward to seeing you again next month.
