This time, we will be introducing the environment of the 0-year-old childcare room.
In the newborn room, mats are laid on the floor because many of the children there are unsteady when walking or crawling.
Busy boards and animals are posted in the room to encourage children to play and move around.
Busy Boards can be quickly removed or replaced to suit a child's situation, and are adjustable to a height that makes it easy for them to play while seated.
We also put up animal illustrations on the walls and floors of the room to encourage the baby to crawl and crawl. By the caregiver calling out from the opposite side, "It's this way," "There's a giraffe here," etc., the baby gradually moves his body and becomes interested in crawling.
The crawling period is an important time for children to build muscle strength and strengthen their hips and legs before they start walking, so we progress according to the child's progress.
I want to cherish the "now" of each child while changing and devising the environment to suit each child's age.
