[Itabashi Station Nursery] A nursery teacher's perspective - outdoors

Hello, this is Shokoji Nursery School in front of Itabashi Station.

This time, we will show you some pictures of our staff during outdoor activities.

When going to parks or other places for outdoor activities, there are a few things and places to be careful of!

On the way to the park, there are checkpoints set by the nursery school, so we stop there and all the staff there check that the number of people is the same as when they left the nursery school.

When we arrive at the park, we first check the number of people there and whether there are any dangerous objects. We make sure that children do not start playing until they have checked the park for anything that they might accidentally pick up or put in their mouths.

When they start playing, all staff members play together with the children, calling out to each other, "X-kun is on his way," while keeping track of where each child is. Younger children may bring leaves or other objects to their mouths, so staff members watch over them from a place where they can see each child's face.

In order to ensure that the children can play safely, we take various precautions when playing outdoors. In addition, we want to cherish the fun and new discoveries that the children experience as we not only watch over them but also play with them in a fun way.
