This is Shokoji Nursery School Minami-Urawa Branch.
In July, it's Tanabata.
The entrance hall was decorated with bamboo decorations made by the children, and from the rooms came the sound of ♪The bamboo leaves rustle♪
You can hear the cute voices of children singing.
The Tanabata Gathering was held on July 5th.

The children love gatherings and look excited to see what's going to happen next.
Our teacher told us the story of Tanabata, and we learned about how Orihime and Hikoboshi can meet once a year.

The children listened attentively to the story and looked happily at the pictures of Orihime and Hikoboshi displayed on the wall.
Each class had a presentation of their bamboo decorations.
The Hoshi group used paint to create a smudged picture, the Tsuki group used stickers, and the Hikari group used footprint stamps to create kimonos for Orihime and Hikoboshi. Each group had their own unique style and created some wonderful pieces.
As they were doing this, the Milky Way appeared behind the children!
Stars, nets and other bamboo decorations are placed on the Milky Way, and the "Bamboo Decoration Fishing Game" begins!!

Some kids had a hard time catching the bamboo decorations, but after they caught them they were all smiling from ear to ear.
The children took home the bamboo they had made. They proudly showed it to their mothers and fathers, swinging it back and forth!
May the wishes written on the strips of paper come true!
The lunch for the day was "Tanabata Curry" and for the afternoon snack, the cooks transformed it into a cute "Star Sweet Potato Yokan". The cute "Tanabata Curry" and "Star Sweet Potato Yokan" were well received by the children and had a huge appetite! Everyone ate it all!
