Hello. This is Shokoji Nursery School Kitaurawa.
The ginkgo leaves at Kita-Urawa Park are also beautifully colored and in full bloom.
This time, the friends from the Moon and Star classes at Kita-Urawa kindergarten took a 30-minute trip to Urawa Fire Station to see the fire trucks.

The 2-year-olds in the Star Class were excited on the way there. They kept talking about fire engines and ambulances as they walked. As they were walking, an ambulance was dispatched, and they were heard saying, "Maybe there won't be an ambulance."

After arriving at the fire station, we greeted the rescue team members in their orange uniforms and listened to them tell us about fire trucks.
We were given special permission to enter the fire engine. Everyone was looking around carefully. They also listened carefully to the explanation of the fire engine.
"There's a lot of water in the pump truck."
Questions such as, "Is it big enough to take a bath?" and "Long enough to swim?" were also asked.
While I was listening to the story intently, a member of the team in a blue uniform came over to me.

The blue uniforms are firefighters, and we were able to hear about their work, saying, "It's hot and hard to go into the fire and put out the fire." We also heard that "The orange uniforms are for saving people's lives." We learned that the activities they do differ depending on the color of the uniform.
We were shown a lot of things, and at the end, the children presented the large message cards that they had all made together to their friends in the Star Class on behalf of the group.
Although he seemed embarrassed when he was patted on the head and told, "Thank you," we all said thank you and said goodbye.
Fire engines were constantly on the move that day, and we left the fire station expressing our gratitude to the firefighters who were protecting the safety and lives of the local community.
