[Niiza Ishigamien] The 6th Athletic Meet

This is the 6th athletic meet of Shokoji Nursery School in Niiza Ishigamien.

This year's theme is "insects," as the two-year-olds have been raising rhinoceros beetles from larvae since before the summer.

The opening ceremony of the sports day began with a portable shrine carried by two-year-old children! "Wasshoi, wasshoi!"

The first words were "I'll do my best~ o~!"

This is the warm-up exercise "Stag beetle exercise". 🎵Scratchy 🎵 With great energy, we will become a stag beetle.

The dance for one-year-olds is "Peekaboo."

We did it with smiles all over our faces!

The two-year-old children performed a lively and cute dance to "Mae Neko Nyan Nyan"!

In the middle of the song, they run as fast as they can through the nursery room! They are full of smiles too!

Next is the parent-child competition "Daruma Rolling."

The one-year-old tried his best to roll the Daruma doll, which was about the same size as his body.

The two-year-old rolled it almost entirely on his own.

That's fast! You did a great job around the corners!

Next is the circuit "Catching with your child - how many can you catch?" It starts from the tunnel.

Ladybug! I caught it!

It's fun to make one with my dad! I wonder which insect I should make.

A yellow ladybug! Isn't it cute?

Next, I'll catch an insect that's on a tree. Which insect should I catch?

This insect is good. That one! I caught it!

We put the bug net in the basket, have mom hold the bug bag, and then go down the slide.

One-year-olds will ride the bus to the finish line!

Two-year-olds are fast even through tunnels! So fast!

They chose their favorite insect and caught it beautifully!

I managed to catch a Hercules beetle!

The two-year-old child grabbed the bag full of bugs and rode his bike to the finish line. So cool!

The last event in the program was a running race for two-year-olds.

That was fast! My mom was waiting for me at the finish line.

The sports day was lively and fun. Congratulations!

The 2-year-olds did a great job at their last sports day at nursery school! Congratulations!
