[Niiza Ishigamien] Kankugyo and Autumn Equinox

This is Shokoji Nursery School Niiza Ishigami Garden.

Now that the autumnal equinox has passed, we can finally feel the signs of autumn. Here is a look at the "Kaniku/Autumn Equinox."

First, we had a panel theater talk about the equinox.

Let's clean up the place. The 2-year-old child did it very neatly.

The one-year-old cleaned the flowers and incense on the Buddhist altar.

We are cleaning Nono's house with her 2-year-old child.

As expected, the one-year-old seems a little nervous.

Next, as the season changes from summer to autumn, we will talk about the "Seven Herbs of Autumn."

Everyone? Do you know this flower?

This is a real arrangement of the "Seven Autumn Herbs." I have prepared dianthus, bellflowers, silver grass, and Japanese eupatorium. I've put them on display at the entrance of my home!

The two-year-olds took turns offering rice balls.

When we offered the offerings, the child naturally snapped his hands together, and he was able to do it even better than he did during Obon.

The one-year-old children also took turns offering flowers and snapping their hands together.

Everyone did well.

When we picked up the children, the parents were there to watch over them. Thank you very much.
