[Minami-Urawa Garden] Tanabata crafting experience ☆

Hello, this is Shokoji Nursery School Minami-Urawa Branch.

Today is Tanabata Day, which the children are looking forward to.

The other day, we held a Tanabata craft experience☆ for which we put up posters and distributed flyers around the nursery school, and four friends from the local area joined us and had a lot of fun making bamboo decorations.

The Hoshi group also participated and were very interested in meeting new friends.

At first, the children were confused by the new environment, but they gradually got used to it and showed big smiles. When they saw the finished bamboo, they said "It's so pretty!" I think they had a great time.

I put up four bamboo decorations in total.

For the first one, we made Orihime and Hikoboshi by choosing either handprints or tissue paper to fill a bag!

Choose your favorite color for your handprint and stick it on!

As expected of mothers.

We encouraged the children to take cute handprints by using fun phrases like "Pink is cute" and "3, 2, 1!"

The children had fun stuffing the tissue paper into the bags together, crumpling it up and skillfully stuffing it into the bags.

Next, we'll stick stickers on the streamers.

"Let's try sticking them on from a watermelon!" "There's even a star!" we heard some happy voices.

The children look very satisfied as they touch their finished streamers.

After that, we wrote our wishes on strips of paper.

"May you grow up healthy and strong" "May you spend your days filled with smiles"

We want the children to have fun and be happy!

Finally, attach the star decoration that was a gift from the nursery school to the bamboo and it's complete!

I hope everyone's wishes come true.

We will continue to hold activities that allow local people to participate, so we look forward to your participation!
