This is Shokoji Nursery School, Niiza Ishigami Garden.
This is a look at the intergenerational exchange that took place from June to July.
This year marks the first time in four years that we have had the opportunity to interact indoors at Cocofan Niiza Ishigami's day care center.
They greeted me with lots of "Hello!" and waving goodbye.

I was nervous when I first entered the room! I was given some handmade maracas...

We gave him his favorite song, "Police Dog"! He's gradually getting back to his usual self.

A two-year-old child gave us materials and a finished product for making Tanabata bamboo decorations.

A few days later, I received some bamboo from my neighbor!

On Monday, July 3rd, we visited Cocofan to help with Tanabata bamboo decorations.

We worked together with the users in a friendly atmosphere to put up the bamboo decorations.

Finally, we sang "Tanabata-sama" and "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" together while looking at the beautiful Tanabata bamboo.

Everyone joined in with clapping and lively voices, creating a lovely, heartwarming Tanabata intergenerational exchange.
