We would like to report that we held our sutra copying event in July.
This month, in addition to the Heart Sutra and the Ten Verses of the Kannon Sutra for Enmei, I enthusiastically prepared many sketches of Buddha images. (I printed a little too many.)
The head priest will also help with the preparations. (Sticks down the information sheet)
Copying of sutras should be done in front of the principal image.
We will provide you with a set of brush pens and an instruction manual. (We also provide chairs, so please rest assured if you are not comfortable sitting upright.)

After the chanting, we will finally begin copying the sutras.
Beginners can feel at ease as they can simply trace the sample. (Veterans were able to write smoothly!)
At the end of copying the sutra, we recite the sutra again and join our hands in prayer.
After copying the sutra, you will present it to the rear hall. You will also be able to take home some scattered flowers as a memento.
Everyone seemed to be able to calm down and concentrate.
