[Itabashi Station Garden] Vegetable Stamp

This time, we will show you how to make vegetable stamps using summer vegetables.

Summer vegetables such as eggplant, bell peppers, okra, and cucumbers appeared in front of the children, and they were excited to see what was going to happen!

First, a summer vegetable quiz!

When asked, "What kind of vegetable is this?" the two-year-old children answered in unison, "It's XX!" and "I know this one!"

When the children actually touch the vegetables, they share their feelings and thoughts, such as "It's smooth!" and "It's kind of prickly!"

Next we'll look at the cross sections of vegetables!

When they cut it open and looked at the cross section, they looked with great interest, saying, "There are seeds in it!" and "The color is different!"

Then, we started stamping the cut vegetables with paint!

Children were excited by the stamps, which change shape depending on the vegetable: flower-like patterns for bell peppers, round patterns for eggplants, and star-like patterns for okra!

Everyone was engrossed in making vegetable flowers of various colors bloom on the white construction paper!
