Hello!
This is Shokoji Nursery School, Itabashi Station Front.
This time, we will introduce the first aid training course that was given to participants.
While the children were taking their afternoon nap, we invited firefighters to give us a first aid course.

First, we were taught how to respond if we found a child or adult who was unconscious and in cardiac arrest.
Then, everyone took turns performing CPR, bringing an AED, and calling an ambulance, and the practice began!

It was a very good experience that simulated the real thing, as it required more effort than we had thought and we had forgotten things that we had learned many times before.

All of our staff members took this training course, and it made us realize once again the weight of the responsibility that comes with working on the front lines as childcare workers, entrusted with the lives of children.

We would like to hold such opportunities on a regular basis so that we can be prepared to save children's lives if an emergency occurs.

I also hope to continue spreading the message about how much responsibility the job of a childcare worker entails and how important that job is to society.
