[Itabashi Station Garden] Baby food tasting event

Hello! This is Itabashi Station Garden.

This time I would like to share with you the baby food tasting event that was held the other day.

Our nursery plans to hold five baby food tasting events for local families this year.

The first one was held on May 12th.

The event was attended by pregnant women who were about to give birth and mothers whose children would soon start eating solid food.

We explained to the children what the purpose of each stage of weaning is for them, and what changes occur in their bodily functions at each developmental stage, while they actually tried the baby food.

The amount of baby food served to the children was the actual standard amount served at the nursery school, and they were able to see and taste the size and hardness of the ingredients, as well as the portions served.

During the Q&A session, we received a question: "The chicken breast keeps getting tough. Is there a good way to cook it?" and we were able to provide some advice on the creative methods used by the school cafeteria staff!

We have received feedback saying, "I wish I had known about this sooner!", so we are posting this information on our nursery's Twitter. We will also be uploading useful information for raising children and childcare at home, so if you would like to take a look, we would be very happy if you would follow us, like us, retweet us, etc.!
