Thanks to the kindness of Arai Farm near the nursery school, we were able to experience harvesting edamame beans.
The theme was "Edamame" and the whole kindergarten had a fun and enriching experience.

First of all, everyone greeted each other with "Hello, I hope you have a great day." The Hoshi group greeted everyone properly.
I was able to say it.

The roots were firmly established, so I pulled it out with all my might! Everyone around me said, "It's a big mess!"
We shouted, "Sho~ Dokkoisho~".

I was so happy when it came out with a "snap!"!

After returning to the nursery, we tried drawing pictures of the edamame beans.

And then... Thursday, July 8th...
Today, as part of our "food education" activities, we touched and smelled the edamame beans we harvested yesterday.
However, I removed it from the branch.

It's quite hard and requires some force.

There were so many on one branch!

I delivered it to the lunch teacher and said, "Please."

The one-year-old child helped me peel the berries off the shell and eat them.

The two-year-old child removed the beans from their shells and ate them himself. "There were three baby beans!" he said, and everyone enjoyed eating them.
