This is the Christmas party at Shokoji Nursery School, Hatogaya branch.
The boys and girls from the Rainbow group performed an ensemble, sang songs, and put on a play!
[Ensemble: Jingle Bells, Song: Ne, Play: The Battle of the Monkey and the Crab]
The atmosphere was a little tense, and the younger children watching as spectators also had nervous expressions on their faces.
The ensemble, songs, and plays all had the dignity of the top grade students, and they all had a dignified presence. I was so moved. This must have given them confidence to show their performance to their parents two days later!

December 24th The next day is the December birthday party and a gift of songs and dances from the Hikari, Tsuki, Hoshi, Hana, and Hinata classes.
The Hikari group played with their hands to make "Panda, Rabbit, Koala." They came on stage wearing animal hats!

The Tsuki class dressed up in their favorite outfits and sang "Jingle Bells" with homemade maracas.
The Star Group wore cute rabbit ears and danced to "Christmas in Rabbit Field."

The Hana group held handmade castanets and sang "The Hasty Santa Claus."
The Hinata group performed "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" using bells, tambourines and castanets.
While everyone was enjoying singing, dancing and playing instruments together, Santa came to visit!
With Santa's sudden appearance, some children were happy, some froze, and some even cried a little...
It was a surprise, but each class received a present and was overjoyed!
The next day, the Rainbow group held a Christmas recital inviting parents.
This year, we were disappointed that we were unable to hold a Christmas party with parents due to infection prevention measures, but it was still a great time for the children to get together with their friends!

I think the children learned and felt a lot from seeing them give so much applause and then joyfully receive it.
It was a Christmas filled with smiles not only for the children but also for the adults.
