Soran Bushi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

On the last Wednesday of every month, Shurir holds community activities at Shokoji Temple.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In February, we had the opportunity to experience the Soran Bushi dance. Local people tried their hand at the dance with the help of students from Toyo University.<\/strong>
We are being taught in a fun and easy-to-understand way how to move our bodies in time with the music, when to call out, and more.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is like pulling a net.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not only were the students great at teaching, but they all quickly learned the choreography and didn't forget to shout out their energetic calls!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was also very refreshing to hear the Soran Bushi music playing in the main hall of the temple, and the lively voices echoing around.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
