We would like to report that we held our sutra copying event in July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This month, in addition to the Heart Sutra and the Ten Verses of the Kannon Sutra for Enmei, I enthusiastically prepared many sketches of Buddha images. (I printed a little too many.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The head priest will also help with the preparations. (Sticks down the information sheet)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Copying of sutras should be done in front of the principal image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We will provide you with a set of brush pens and an instruction manual. (We also provide chairs, so please rest assured if you are not comfortable sitting upright.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

First, the head priest spoke about the rules of copying sutras.Here<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the chanting, we will finally begin copying the sutras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Beginners can feel at ease as they can simply trace the sample. (Veterans were able to write smoothly!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of copying the sutra, we recite the sutra again and join our hands in prayer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After copying the sutra, you will present it to the rear hall. You will also be able to take home some scattered flowers as a memento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone seemed to be able to calm down and concentrate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next event will be held on Sunday, August 6th.
