Obon is approaching. We have chosen to focus on Obon as a part of our awareness-raising activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-style-photo_frame\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sk-j.or.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/%E2%91%A0.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5291\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I made lanterns for the Obon festival using dyed washi paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-style-photo_frame\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sk-j.or.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/%E2%91%A1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5292\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I made stamps of zucchini and carrots. Everyone loves &quot;The Goldfish Has Run Away&quot;!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-style-photo_frame\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sk-j.or.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/%E2%91%A2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5293\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The one-year-old child made a carrot stamp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-style-photo_frame\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sk-j.or.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/%E2%91%A3.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5294\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2-year-old&#039;s stamp is a zucchini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-style-photo_frame\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sk-j.or.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/%E2%91%A4.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5295\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I laminated the washi paper with the goldfish stamp on it, hung a light inside, and my lantern was complete!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-style-photo_frame\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sk-j.or.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/%E2%91%A5.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5296\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I darkened the room and lit a lantern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-style-photo_frame\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sk-j.or.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/%E2%91%A6.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5297\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On Wednesday, August 9th, Kankyo and Obon will begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, we had a panel theater performance called &quot;My Dad&#039;s Dad is My Grandpa, My Mom&#039;s Mom is My Grandma.&quot; With the help of the Sazae-san family, we talked about our families and ancestors, and also about Obon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-style-photo_frame\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sk-j.or.jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/%E2%91%A7.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5298\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, let&#039;s clean up Nono. The Nono Shrine was also cleaned up, and everyone at the nursery school was able to celebrate Obon together. In the latter half of August, we will be holding the Obon Festival and Intergenerational Exchange.
