Once preparations are complete, the Flower Festival finally begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, six children represented the group and offered incense, lanterns, and flowers. With the support of the nursery teachers, everyone offered flowers to Nono Shrine in their own way. After offering the flowers, some children were able to clap their hands properly!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After we were ready to celebrate Nono-sama, the head priest recited the sutra. We hold the prayer beads and clap our hands while singing. I wonder if Nono-sama heard our voices?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the song, it is time to pour sweet tea on the Buddha. The sweet tea pouring represents the nectar that fell on him when he was born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the support of the nursery teachers, the children took turns pouring sweet tea on the &quot;Nono-sama&quot; flower shrine. The children who were able to pour the sweet tea well looked very proud! For the children who still found it difficult, the nursery teachers helped them pour the sweet tea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the children have rinsed the tea, the head priest presents them with some sweet tea candy.
