Hello. This is Shokoji Nursery School Kita-Urawa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other day, a friend from the 2-year-old class went to a nearby library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We took turns walking the nearly 30-minute route each way using a walking cart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the way there, they seemed excited and nervous, wondering "What kind of books will there be?" and "What kind of place is it?"<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take a break and drink some hydrating tea along the way!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once things calmed down, it was time to head to the library!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before the class, the teacher made some rules for the classroom: "Don't talk loudly" and "Don't run."<\/p>\n\n\n\n

"Other people may be quietly reading books, so I won't be a nuisance."<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After listening carefully to the story, we went inside and borrowed a few wooden picture books each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Normally, the children spend their time in the large park playing in the sandbox, running around, and playing freely on the playground equipment, but this time they were in a different environment and by following the rules, I think this gave them an opportunity to become aware of themselves as members of society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
