This is Shokoji Nursery School Akabane Iwabuchi Garden \ud83d\ude0a\u2728<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other day, we had the Hanamatsuri, a festival to celebrate Buddha's birthday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For some children this is their first time, while for some in the preschool class it is already their fourth time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, the children offered lanterns, incense, and flowers to Nono-sama (Buddha), and during the festival the head priest of the corporation read sutras, making for a wonderful festival that the children got very serious about!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some children listened to sutras and sang songs with their hands together, and at the end they poured sweet tea on the baby and said, "Congratulations, Nono-sama." Some infants who couldn't speak just put their hands together and bowed deeply with a smile.

The Nono-sama, flowers, and incense were available at the nursery school, so we arranged them on the table, prepared a ``sweet tea set'' using toys, and enjoyed the Pre-Hana Festival almost every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The children have naturally learned to join hands.
