Hello, this is Itabashi Ekimaeen \ud83c\udf1eToday we will be talking about food education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In June, 1- and 2-year-olds did "cabbage tearing" and "vegetable stamp" activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A two-year-old child went to a greengrocer to buy cabbage and enjoyed various discoveries, such as "It's big! It's heavy! \ud83d\ude33". He also had the experience of paying at the cash register and receiving change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was very stimulating to experience in real life what I always do in pretend play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When tearing cabbage, the children used all five senses by holding the large, round cabbages by themselves, looking closely at their shape, and smelling them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this food education program, even after some time had passed, the children were still talking about tearing the cabbage, saying things like "You tore it up!", and I was very happy to see them eagerly eating the vegetables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Using leftover cabbage, we made vegetable stamps to create hydrangeas, allowing the children to experience seasonal flowers while having fun watching the colors mix and the patterns change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
