As the time of the Segaki ceremony approaches, the summer sunshine becomes more intense, and the greenery of the temple grounds becomes even more intense, giving us a sense of the strength of life. On summer mornings when the sun rises high, the moment when the day begins surrounded by the light shining into the silence gives us a feeling of purification of the soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Shokoji Temple, in order to provide everyone with a time for reflection and prayer through the Segaki ceremony, we will hold sermons and memorial services as follows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Date and time: Thursday, July 17, 2020<br>Sermon from 11:00 a.m.<br>Memorial service: 12:00 p.m. (\u203bTime will be different from last year)<br>Location: Shokoji Temple Main Hall<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you would like to do so, please apply by email, phone, or using the application method listed in the temple newsletter, or by filling out the application form on our website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All the staff are looking forward to seeing you all in the main hall.
