It's been two months since our last sutra copying session. How has everyone been? The sky has been clear and refreshing recently, as if it were a lie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although there was a typhoon on the day, two people participated and tried to reflect on themselves through copying sutras. I feel that this is a very noble thing to do. When the weather is bad, the mind can become unsettled, but it seemed that they were able to calm their minds and concentrate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, today's topic was "lying." Beyond the question of whether or not to lie, we should strive to be honest with ourselves and those around us. Today's sutra copying session ended with a prayer for the participants to spend their days peacefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It's still hot out, so please take care of your health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Shokoji Temple, we hold a sutra copying event on the first Sunday of every month. Anyone is welcome to join, so please feel free to join us.
